How chiropractic helps

Built to keep
you moving.

Chiropractic care focuses on diagnosing, treating and preventing musculoskeletal and spinal conditions that affect your movement, posture and nervous system function. Whether you're dealing with back or neck pain, stiff joints or a sports or work-related injury, chiropractic is designed to help you understand what's going on and support your body's own capacity to move and function well.

Ease back & neck pain

Hands-on treatment and spinal adjustment aim to help settle pain in the back, neck and surrounding joints.

Restore joint movement

Spinal and joint adjustments are designed to reduce stiffness and support a fuller, freer range of motion.

Settle headache-related pain

Chiropractic care is commonly used to help with headaches and posture-related pain linked to the neck.

Recover from sport & work injuries

Manual therapy and rehab exercises to help get you back to training, sport or physical work.

Improve posture

Postural and ergonomic advice to help reduce strain on your spine and joints, at work and at home.

Prevent recurrence

Mobility and strengthening exercises plus practical advice, so the same problem is less likely to return.

Your first visit

Know exactly
what to expect.

01

We listen

Your chiropractor asks detailed questions about your history, symptoms, work, activity levels and goals — the full picture, not just where it hurts.

02

We assess

A thorough physical assessment of your movement, posture and joints, monitoring how your body responds over time.

03

We plan — together

You'll leave with a diagnosis, a treatment and management plan you understand, and preventative advice to help going forward.

Do you need a GP referral? No — chiropractors are primary contact practitioners, so you can book directly. If you're claiming through WorkCover, CTP, DVA or a Medicare Chronic Disease Management plan, bring your GP referral to your first appointment.

Your care

Stages that
fall into line.

Chiropractic care can feel like a messy pile of appointments. Your chiropractor turns it into a plan — watch the stages straighten out as you scroll.

Visit 1

Assess & begin treatment

A thorough assessment, a diagnosis, and treatment that often begins in the same visit.

Visits 2–4

Adjust & mobilise

Ongoing adjustment, joint mobilisation and soft tissue work to build on the progress you've made.

Ongoing

Maintain & prevent

Mobility and strengthening exercises plus practical advice, so you can manage things well between visits.

Every person and condition is different — timeframes shown are an example only. Your chiropractor will map out a plan specific to you.

01

Approvals sorted

02

Assess & set goals

Chiropractic adjustment and rehab exercises delivered in structured, approved blocks, reviewed as you progress.

04

Report & review

Progress reports go to your GP, insurer or plan reviewer at the right times — and your plan adjusts as you improve.

How we treat

backed by exercise.

Your treatment plan is tailored to your condition and goals. Depending on your assessment, it may include:

Mobility library

Mobility work
you can do anywhere.

Mobility exercises your chiropractor may prescribe between visits. A peek inside:

General exercise guidance only, for education purposes — not a substitute for individual assessment. These are illustrative examples; your chiropractor will confirm which exercises, and how many reps and sets, are right for your condition and stage of care. Stop and speak with your chiropractor if you feel pain, dizziness or discomfort.

Good to know

Questions we hear
every week.

Do you need a GP referral? +

No. Chiropractors are primary contact practitioners, so you can book directly. The exceptions are WorkCover, CTP, DVA and Medicare Chronic Disease Management plans — bring your GP referral for those.

What can you expect at your first visit? +

A thorough physical assessment and detailed questions about your history and goals. Your chiropractor will monitor how your body responds over time, which leads to a diagnosis, a treatment and management plan, and preventative advice.

What techniques do chiropractors use? +

Techniques may include spinal adjustment, manual therapy, hot and cold therapy, hydrotherapy and massage. Some of our chiropractors also offer dry needling and cupping as part of your treatment plan.

Can chiropractic help with headaches? +

Chiropractic care is commonly used to help with headaches and migraines related to the neck. It may help some people, though everyone is different — your chiropractor will assess whether this approach is right for you.

Can I claim chiropractic on my insurance, NDIS or WorkCover? +

Private health rebates depend on your fund and level of extras cover, so check with your fund before your visit. We're a registered NDIS provider, and our chiropractors regularly support WorkCover and CTP claims.
